Sharon took Jaxon to the Doctor today. He has strep. I kept Jordan while she took him so I had him all day. We did manage to stay the whole service this morning. Praise God. And then I spent a lot of the day reading. Jordan has decided he likes to read. He goes and gets a book and comes up and says Hold you. We read The Napping House a BUNCH today. I guess he has decided that is his favorite. We also read Fishy Tales a lot. He tells me what to sing. I guess I sang the W-H-I-T-E song about a hundred times this weekend. Sharon didn't call from the Dr until around 3:30 and by then Jordan was asleep so I took him home when he woke up around 5.
I ran to the store for some water and came back to watch some shows on the food network. Got some laundry going that should have been done earlier in the day. Oh well I won't get finished with that tonight. I am really tired and it is back to work tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI did NOTHING today. slept a lot and visited with both Jennifer and Dave, and James and Rachel.
Tomorrow I hope to get Ronnie's quilt in some frames. I should have done it Friday
Jaxon is in my prayers. That strep is mean stuff. Glad you had a good day with Jordan. I loved reading to the grands. A bit of variety helps though.

ReplyDeleteJaxon is better but pray he takes his medicine better. He had a big place on his lip. I ask Sharon if it was a fever blister or if he bumped it and she said his lip got busted when they were giving him his medicine. He is so strong I don't know how they are doing it if he is fighting them that bad. You have to have medicine with strep.
ReplyDeleteAlso pray for Sharon. Zach has been sent to a half way house for about 9 months. It is in Tyler.
Norma, I wish you had called. i would have gladly brought you a burger. As I said I had planned to come over Sunday. I had got you out a bowl of beans I had cooked and got some cheese from Brookshires but you had company when I called. I am so afraid of butting in. I don't mind grabbing you some fast food, cooking for and or eating a bite with you. i just don't get ideas myself and i have no drive or get up and go on my sa witnessed in my allowing my house to stay in such a state for so long. But if you mention something i will gladly do it.
Man I just can't get the citation out of my head. Let me know if there is something I should be doing.
