Feeling Blue

I am "Down In The Dumps" .  Say a prayer for me.  Not good with change.  Makes for frettin'.  I am so nervous about the cameras going in at work.  I won't detail the nerves 'cause to be honest I really don't know why I am so blue.  I don't know if there is a need or if the devil is just taking advantage to wool me around?

That being said.   God is good and I will try not to dwell there.

I read this on my calendar and want to share it.

"No matter how I feel today, Lord, give me victory and joy in you.  Keep my eyes on you and the hope there is in trusting You.  Don't let me get sidetracked by wishing I were younger or regretting anything about my current circumstances.  This is the day you've given me.  Help me live fully this very minute.  Amen. I pray you all have a good night and a wonderful day tomorrow with good health, joy and peace.  I love you.

  1. I know what you are going through. Been there with Perry. I don't know why your job decided on cameras but in Perry's case ..a few co-workers caused this whole thing. Co-workers that should have been let go instead of everybody being punished for their actions. He is used to the cameras now and he has turned the creepy feeling around into feeling confient that no one can lie about him..it is all on tape. He is doing what is right so if anyone ever says different he has proof on tape of his innocence. I made that sound like Perry was accused of something and he wasn't..he just got the lecture with the wrongdoers as is the case now for most poor working people. Why are employers afraid to single out a poor performing employee? I don't get it?

Just take comfort in the devotion and rest in His care.

  2. I want to also mention..I think this weather has something to do with the depression and blues...I have been dragging and crying and depressed...but God knew we needed this rain..those poor fire fighters and all those destroyed homes and blackened forests..we don't need tornadoes. I pray for you guys everytime they say Lamar county is under a tornado warning...please pray for us when our area gets a warning.

Zita, you devotional said it all. Now if we can just do it.

Like Glenda, I feel the weather give a little blues plus it makes our bones ache and that adds to the feeling of worthlessness

God is faithful. We will be victors
