Yoo-Hoo Job!

I know it was not long ago that I wrote a little thing about Job but I was flipping through my "Gleanings" notebook and I really like how this is worded
Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you will answer me.  Job 38:3 (NKJ)
This is God talking to Job.  Hey , think man! And He begins to remind Job just who His God is!

"Yoo-Hoo Job! Over Here! Look Up!.....
.....Perhaps the questions were posed to help Job shift his focus from self- analysis, despondency, and desperation to the God of all comfort.

I believe when the Lord is high and lifted up in our hearts, minds and conversations, even life's catastrophes are possible (not easy) to bear.  For it is when we realize our calamities have been filtered through the sovereign hand of the One who laid foundations of the earth, and there is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- outside His dominion and endless reservoir of grace. (end quote)

Lord, please help us to look up on high from whence cometh our help!  Help us to comprehend the magnitude of Your grace and power.  Let Your praise reign.  Let Your praise be continually in our mouth.  Let it be brought forth  in our hearts and be manifest in our life.  Let the joy of the Lord indeed become our strength.  Help us to focus on You!  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen.
GOD IS GOOD!
