This little quote is funny but it really is true. I really don't think that I talk a lot but I do tend to talk before I think things through.
Lord, please help me to learn to weigh a matter before I put my two cents in. Help me to speak good, true and uplifting things. Help me to know when to keep my own council and be quiet. Amen.
so true, I remember in a Life Group lesson once I asked God to put a delay on my speech..(like they have on tv to censor and be able to remove profane language, etc.. ) so I could think about what I just said before it was out there floating in space possibly causing all kinds of problems..
ReplyDeleteI have spent lots of time praying that things I said would not cause any trouble. That God would just kind of allow it to go away and be okay not hurting anyone or causing trouble.
