Apples Of Gold

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver
Prov. 25:11

I really desire for the things that I say to be good and helpful.  Words of wisdom, love, and exhortation.  Words that lift up and never tear down.   Pure, honest and true.

Lord Jesus please help my words be beautiful to the hearer.

  1. Zita, it seems we all are getting a wake up call about the seriousness of the spoken word. I am also feeling a tug to be careful what is said. It is so hard to say what needs to be said, in the right way, at the right time, in a way that will serve GOD's plan.

  2. WELL SAID. ZITA, YOU DO MORE WITH THE GIFT OF EXHORTATION THAT IS WITHIN MOTHER'S SEED THAN ANY OF THE REST OF US. DO NOT LET SATAN BUFFET YOU. I enjoyed so much our visit today. it was one of the longest visits I have had with my any of my sisters since this nightmare began. Thank you for today

  3. Thank you, Norma. I don't hear anything like that much. I am usually told how rude and gripey I am.
I too enjoyed my visit exceedingly.
I had a wonderful Saturday. Except for the rat. One huge blot but I will try not to dwell on that.
Yes Glenda, I have tried so hard to work on my mouth and what I say for YEARS. I do better with writing though because mouth is still so unruly.

  5. When I was taking my bath before church last night, I saw a tail going in behind he toilette. It was huge. I like to never convinced myself to get out of the tub. Finally when I did I tried to convince myself I had not seen it (You know my eyes are not that great) but then i went to put my towels in the dirty clothes basket in the midddle room I saw it again. As I switched on the light I heard a thump and scratching and it was climbing up the side of those shelves. It is huge. Needless to say I did not get much sleep last night. You know how I am about mice and this one is almost the size of a cat. I'm terrified. I have no idea what to do. I'm still trying to talk myself into my bath tonight. If I wait till morning I will have to get up at 5:45. I guess it won't change either. The rat is still inside/or not? Help!!! I am praying God will exterminate for me. If He can cause a plague. He can surely send them somewhere else. Help me pray! No way can I set traps. I already have poison out. I am terrified of mice. sob!

  6. One year we got some big rats in the garage. I think Perry trapped 3. Perry took care of them. He bought some huge rat traps and often they would still be alive with their heads in the clamp. I don't know what I would do Zita...Yikes!!!! It has been awhile since I have even seen a mouse. We used to get them when it started getting cold. Inactivity in a home is like a welcome come on in sign to them. You have all that closed off area. They take over anyplace they think is empty. Glenda T said a house there in the country will get overrun if you take a short vacation. Be careful..rats are agressive. Mice run, rats will attack if cornered. I think you need a cat. A big one. I have heard they will scare rodents off. Of course, that would not be good for your allergies... I know you are like us. We don't want to afford the expense of a pet either.

  7. Zita, usually rats don't live in a house. They go out and in through an opening.

  8. I know that there are holes all over the house. It is making the one in the bathroom bigger. I can't sleep and I'm scared. I need someone to fix all the mouse and rat holes but there is no one. I have no extra money and I guess no friends. I haven't been able to sleep hardly any tonight. There are sign of that thing every time I go to the bathroom. It is 3:25am. I don't know how I am going to work tomorrow. And I still have to make myself take a bath in that bathroom.
