Covenant of Peace

And I will make them a covenant of peace.........And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing, and I shall cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing..............and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord, ...........and none shall make them afraid...  Ez. 34:25-28
I claim peace, blessings, safety and freedom from fear. in Jesus Name! Amen!

It's My Name

The book I am reading actually has a character in it named Zita.  I've wondered before how it would feel to read  a book that had your name in it all the time.  The first time I thought about it was when I was teaching teen Sunday school and I had boys named Peter and Paul.  I thought it must seem odd to have someone saying your name all the time but not be talking to you or about you.  (I know I am weird but I did think it).  Well now I know and I do think it is strange to keep reading my name and it's not my name!  i keep wanting to say no! that is my name you can't have it.
Oh well, what can I say I am with children all the time!

Good Morning

Just wanted to say a quick hello.  I haven't been able to post the last few days so I just wanted to check in.  I'm waiting on Jaxon to come.  The change in weather is so wonderful.  I love cooler weather.  Everything is going pretty good.
I pray you all have a really good day!

Lazy Sunday

I have just spent another one of my lazy Sundays.  I pray God honor it as a rest for the Sabbath.  The day has really been peaeful and nice.  Thanks to Norma and Wesley I was able to take both of my grandsons to church with me.  A good start to the day.  The Lord blessed me with a gift from a beloved relative and I spent the day just basically doing nothing.  The boys were a little taxing on my sore arm this weekend so I pray that it will be completely recovered by their next visit.  I also really need to be able to braid my hair but I'm not complaining it is so much better than it was.
God is good.  The weather is nice and I pray everyone have a good rest tonight.
God bless.

At Wits End....Call Out!

They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.
THEN they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
He maketh the storm a calm....     Ps. 107:27-29

He WILL Supply

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken nor His seed begging for bread.  Psalm 37:25

Amen and thank you,Father.

Hello

Just wanted to say hello to all my followers.  As of now I have 5 followers.  I don't know if others are reading occasionally, too.  But I love you all and am eager to hear comments from all of you when you have time.
God bless you all abundantly!  Much love and prayers, Zita

Suffering -- There is an end results!

I read this in my Life Application Bible tonight:
"Suffering causes us to trust God for who He is, not what He does."

Maybe we who are questioning our situations so much might read in Job where God challenges Job: Chapters 38-41.  God really lays it out straight to Job.  Finally in chapter 40 vs 1 He (God) says
"Do you still want to argue with the almighty. ....Do you have the answers?"

Life Application Note:  Throughout his time of suffering, Job longed to plead his innocence before God.  Here God appeared...gave opportunity.  But Job decided to remain quiet...it was no longer necessary for him to speak.  God had shown Job that, as a limited human... , he had neither the ability to judge the God who created the universe ....God's actions do not depend on ours.  He will do what He knows is best, regardless of what we think is fair.  It is important to note, however,  that God came to Job, demonstrating His love and care for him.  (End quote)

So for whatever reason we pass through these times of suffering we can rest assured that God is with us and it has a purpose. If we lean on Him that purpose will come to fruition and bring forth the needed end results.
And as our Matriarchs were fond of telling us we do PASS through.  The other side really does come.

Job said 42:5
"I had only heard about You before, but now I have seen You with my eyes."

Praise The Lord

My arm was much better today.  God answered prayers.  It still hurts when I move it certain ways but I have more mobility and lots less pain.  Thanks again for the prayers.  May God bless you back abundantly.

Pray For Me

This afternoon at work I tripped and fell down.  I fell on my arm really hard.  It hurts pretty bad but it is not swelling or anything.  I think it may be just jammed or something like that.  I am not going to the doctor tonight.  Pray it is okay tomorrow.  I really can't afford to miss work and Jaxon comes in the morning and he always wants picked up and held. He is really hard on your arms anyway.
Thanks for your prayers.  God bless you back in abundance.

Good Day

This has been a good and restful day for me.  I got up this morning and took Jaxon to Sunday School with me.  We had a really good anointed service.
The rest of the day I listened to music on the computer while I did what little work I did today.  I really enjoyed my music.  It has been a long time since I played music all day.  It really ministered to me bringing a peaceful atmosphere to my home.  Everything from Safe Harbor to Good Old Gospel Music.  I love music.
May the Lord give everyone who reads this peace and health.  Rest easy tonight and have a good day tomorrow!!   Much love and prayers.

Remembered

...Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands;
Your walls are continually before me.  Isaiah 49:15,16

This I Proclaim!

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6
I ran across this verse tonight while I was flipping through my Bible.  I felt that I should claim this for our children.  We have so many that have stepped across the lines of what is right.  They KNOW the truth deep within themselves.  God began a work in them as little children and He is able and He will bring it to fruition.  We can expect it.  We can look for it.  We can rest in it!!  In Jesus Name I pray!  Amen!

Good Company AND Brownies

I had a good time of fellowship with Dave and Jennifer.  Dave joined me and Jennifer on our Friday eat out.  I enjoyed their company over dinner at Gerabaldi's.  Then Jennifer and I went on a mini shopping spree and came back to none other than a delicious smelling house.  What could it be?  Brownies!  Dave had made brownies while we were gone.  I enjoyed a nice restful visit with Jennifer and then went home with BROWNIES.  "They were good, Too!
I know its hard for Jennifer to believe when she is in such turmoil but her home is really restful.
Country fried pork chops, banana pudding, brownies and restful company all in one week.
Praise God for His benefits.
Love you all. Praying peace be with you.

Peace

The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.  Ps. 29:11

Thank you, Father!

Makeup? War Paint?

No Jordan its not face paint!!  Paint the picture.  It is fun though.  Grandma turned her head to take a picture of Jaxon and turned back to a blue mouthed Jordie.  It was so cute though and already done so I had to take pictures for awhile.   Thanks to Auntie Norma's paint dabbers, Jordan's Nonna gets to scrub a dub in the tub tonight.  Wash cloth didn't do much good.

Goodmorning

A new day dawns.  I'm siting here waiting on Jaxon to get here.  He comes over in the mornings to catch the bus for school.  I praise the Lord for the new day.  I pray He will help me walk worthy of Him in this day.
This is the verse that comes to my mind in this early morning.
....Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.  Matt. 6:34
Lord help us to leave yesterday behind and tomorrow alone and live in this day.  Keep our minds from fretting over what we should have or could have done differently in the past.  Help us not to worry about what might be wrong tomorrow and help us to focus on this day and how we might live in it now.  Help us to do our best.  Guide our hearts and our minds.  Take control and keep us safe in You.  Amen.

He Hears Me

In my distress I cried unto the Lord and He heard me.  Ps. 120:1
The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.  Ps. 6:9
I love this.  To know that when I pray, when I call out, when I cry unto the Lord, He hears me and receives my prayer.  Sometimes recognizing this and leaving it with Him is very hard but even so it is a relief to know that we have a confidant in Him.  He is  one that will never betray us and is always acting in our best interest.  Sometimes He just listens and wraps His loving arms of comfort around us and just listens.  He knows, He sees, He cares!
Thank you, Heavenly Father for always being there for me!!!  I love you. Amen.

Healing Wings

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings;....  Malachi 4:2
We need you, Father, arise spread forth those wings and send healing to us, your people. Amen!

Pork Chops---- Country Fried!!!

MMMM Tonight I had country fried pork chops and banana pudding.  Norma fed me!!!  Thanks Norma and Wesley for the food and fellowship.  I get really hungry for home cooked food.  Coming home from work to a hot kitchen with hurting legs tends to call for hamburgers, nachos or a can of chili.  Thanks for the fantastic meal.  I'm Daddy's girl for meat and potatoes.  Dad thought if you had meat you could eat.  Steak, ribs, pork chops, roast, chicken, meat, meat meat.  I loved it!  So I really get hungry for home cooking.  Jennifer and Dave feed me home cooking occassionally, too.  I hardly ever really cook for myself.  Just macaroni and a can of something.
God is good.  Praying you all have peace and health.

Walk On

For we walk by faith, not by sight.   2 Cor. 5:7
I need a reminder.  God is in control.  Things may not look good. Things may be hard but fear not because God is in control.  He's walking with you and He will keep you.  Things will turn around.  Good will come.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Nap Time

The boys are asleep so I thought I would play with my blog a little.  I managed to get my verse down at the top.  It is still posting at the wrong time.  I tried to fix it but it told me to make sure the time was right on my computer to fix the problem and it is.   Soooo if anyone knows what will fix the time let me know.  I wish Norma and Glenda would start a blog.  I really enjoy reading Jennifer's.  It feels like a short visit with my sister.  I think it would be fun to visit with all 3 of you in this manner.  Although I am not being very good to write on mine.  But I'll keep trying.  Peace and health to all who are reading!!

Holy Ground

On the way home from Walmart tonight I was listening to my Stephen Hill cassette. Good Things Happen was playing.  I haven't been able to get it off my mind so I am going to share a feww of the lyrics with you.
.......When communion with the Father is all you seek ... Give Him your hand and move your feet...Good things happen on Holy ground ... Your bathed in blessings when God reaches down  .... So take your shoes off and walk around.....sinless God met a sinful man ... He paid the price...Now they walk together hand in hand... on Holy ground in the promised land.
Wow we walk hand in hand with Him in the promised land.  Communing with the Father!!!  To commune with the Father is to be in the promised land walking on Holy ground, bathed in His blessing.  Thank You, Father, for making this possible and help me to walk in constant communion with You.

Blessed Day

God is good.  I started out the day with a flat tire.  As usual Norma came to my rescue.  I can always count on Norma.  No matter how busy her day or heavy her load she is always ready to help.  Thanks so much Norma!!   I love you!
My tire was fixed with no charge even though they had to come to the house to pick it up.  God's blessing on Ronnie.  I received a much needed gift of money and sold some crafts that I had made.  Praise God for His provision.
I really don't have much to say just wanted to  Praise God.  I have to get to bed so I can get up to see Jaxon off to school in the morning.
Wishing everyone else  peace, good health and blessings for the coming day!

My Design

I managed to get my computer to show the pretty pink stripes I had seen on Jenifer's computer by downloading an updated browser or something like that.  I changed back to the stripes.  I can also now see the birds on Jennifer's blog and her colors are a softer silvery color instead of dark gray.
I still don't know my way around blogging but maybe I'll get the hang of it.

Hello!

Hi!  Jennifer helped me get ny blog started.  Looking forward to sharing my ponderings with you.
