Jaxon needs prayer.

Sharon took Jaxon to the Doctor today.  He has strep.  I kept Jordan while she took him so I had him all day.  We did manage to stay the whole service this morning.  Praise God.  And then I spent a lot of the day reading.  Jordan has decided he likes to read.  He goes and gets a book and comes up and says Hold you.  We read The Napping House a BUNCH today.  I guess he has decided that is his favorite.  We also read Fishy Tales a lot.  He tells me what to sing.  I guess I sang the W-H-I-T-E song about a hundred times this weekend.  Sharon didn't call from the Dr until around 3:30 and by then Jordan was asleep so I took him home when he woke up around 5.

I ran to the store for some water and came back to watch some shows on the food network.  Got some laundry going that should have been done earlier in the day.  Oh well I won't get finished with that tonight.  I am really tired and it is back to work tomorrow.

God is good.  Bless you all.

Buenos Noches

Not sure of spelling but just to continue in the same theme.

The boys and I had a good day.  We had a lot of fun in the pool.  Glenda, I put the red and orange suit on Jordan the last 2 weeks.  The strings on it tighten up in a different way than the fish suit.  Jaxon don't need it tightened.  It was so funny today.  The apples had been picked off the apple tree.  Jordan looked over and he said "Where's the apple tree".  He thought since the apples were not on it it was not the apple tree. LOL.  He finally noticed a few on the other side so I think he understood.

Don't really have nothing to say just wanted to check in.  Except for my visit with the boys I have spent my time surfing the web and playing Enigma.  Very lazy.  Oh my.  Watched some TV, too.  Now since it is so late I am off to bed.  Probably for a little TV or reading before dozing off.

I pray you all have a restful night and a very blessed, peaceful day tomorrow.  It is Jordan's turn for Sunday School.  I pray all goes well.  I don't have to leave as early with Jordan as I do with Jaxon.  I pray we will last the full time tomorrow.

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Buenos Dias

Our theme this week is Dora and we are learning some Spanish words.  We are singing Ms Jo's So Many Ways To Say Good Morning and reading Gato Azul.  If this information is not enough to cause your eyes to glaze then consider that I spent time last night learning how to make Jacobs Ladder and the witches broom with a piece of string.  And if you must know I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  I think I'll get a Cat's Cradle Book.

I have kinda got hooked on Enigma on my Hoyle word games.  I have not played it much in the past but I was looking for something a little different and came across this game and have played A LOT of games over the past few days.  I guess we know why I am not getting much else done but I did put in 88 hours at Lollypop over the last 2 weeks.  I was proud of that.

I don't know why that is bold but it won't let me change.  I guess because I pasted the Scripture first and it begins bold.

I was so glad to read all my sisters new posts.  It makes me feel like I have had a little visit.  Not much of a phone person so I enjoy this.  I don't mind talking on the phone I am just not much one to call.

This verse caught my eye tonight when I was flipping through an old prayer journal.  We need His strength so desperately right now.  It is there for us!

Ephesians 6:10

Amplified Bible (AMP)
10In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

God is Good!  God be with you all.

Waiting...

As per ususal on Saturday morning I am waiting on the boys to get here.  Thought i would just check in with a nice cheery Good morning!  Praying everyone has a blessed day.  I pray the Lord meets with us tonight at our singing.  I really enjoy singing and praising God in song.

"Father, thank you that when we cry to you, you hear our prayers and send your peace and grace to calm our innner storms.  Have mercy on me today.  Amen."   By Sheila Walsh

God Is In Control

God is good.  Sometimes things look black and dark but I know God is in control of ALL things and we must hide in Him and ride out the storms in our path.  He can and will keep us if we trust in Him.

The boys are asleep.

I was just sitting here while the boys take their nap.  We had a lot of fun outside in the pool.  There was a slight cloud cover that kept it from being too hot.  They had new swim suits and toys aunt Glenda sent.  I put the end of the slide in the pool and Jordan loved sliding down into the pool.  He also liked making bubbles with the bubble sword.  Jaxon was not distracted from the water by anything.  He played and splashed and really enjoyed himself.  I think he did play with the slinky and stop to eat a little apple.  All in all it was very fun.

I pray everyone is at peace and having a good day.  God be with you all.

New Craft Project

I started a new craft project.  I hope I make it to completion because it is going to be a LOT of work.   It is crochet.  I found a different one but I was unsure if I could do it.  It was called the Prairie Star Afghan and there are tutorials on YouTube for it but I decided to start this other one using Granny Squares as I already know how to make them.

I came home from work tonight, ate dinner and laid down on the couch to wait on the Singing Bee to come on and I fell asleep and did not wake up until around 9.  I had thought to call and see if Norma or Jennifer wanted to go out for a bite but I decided I was too tired.

I hope everyone had a good day and I pray tomorrow will be relaxed and peaceful.  I get more boys and if everything goes OK we will begin by going out to the wading pool.  The kids really love to play in water.  Especially Jaxon.  I pray we have a good day.

Guess I will bid you goodnight with a Be at Peace.  God is good.  Rest In Him.

Good Morning All

Good morning to all of you.  I pray God bless your day and help you to accomplish all you set out to do.
Today I get my boys after work.  Looking forward to the visit.  I pray my day goes well at work so that I won't be so tired while they are here.

God is good.  let us rejoice in the day he has brought to us.  I pray He helps all who have to be in the extreme heat.  I personally am looking forward to the cooler weather.  I am not a big fan of the heat.

"He quieted the wind down to a whisper, put a muzzle on all the big waves.  And you were so glad when the storm died down, and He led you safely back to harbor.  So thank God for His marvelous love, for His miracle mercy to the children He loves."  Psalm 107:19-11 The Message.

Looking forward to the end of the storm............praise God there can be a quiet in the midst of the storm.   Lord, keep us in the quiet place as we ride out the storms in our life.  Keep us safe and at peace in You.  Amen.

The Cloud Of Witnesses

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, ........let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;....Hebrews 12:1, 2a

"The Great Cloud Of Witnesses"

Life Application Bible (KJV) note:
This "great cloud of witnesses" is  composed of people described in chapter 11.  Their faithfulness is a constant encouragement to us.  We do not struggle alone and we are not the first to struggle with the problems we face  Others have run the race and won and their witness stirs us to run and win also.  What an inspiring inheritance we have.  In this we gain maturity --- suffering is the training ground --- it brings patience.
GOAL --- Keep our eyes on Jesus!!  (End note)

But just think!  We not only have the many witnesses listed in Hebrews and other places in the Scripture but we can look at our own witnesses.  The people in our own lifetime who have walked with God and kept the faith through many trial, temptations and tests. Think on them and what their strong stand and their open dependence on God has shown us throughout the years.  ---ex.  Mother (Mary Lois), Bro. James, , Bro Loys, Bro JW, Sis. Bobbie, Aunt Kathryn, Sis. Velma and many, many others that I know you can think of.  Even some who are living now.  Holding on, struggling, surviving, knowing that God will see them through.  Knowing that God is walking there beside them, holding and comforting. At times He allows the fiery refinement while at other times He shields us from the fire completely.  He's ALWAYS THERE!!  He knows what we need to be the Jewels in His Kingdom.  To make us fit to be His children.

When the struggling seems long and hard think on some these lives and the many others.  Review and let it help you.  Remember what they stood for and how they came through.  Pray for strength like they had to carry you through!  God is good and He will lift you up and see you through.  He's there for you.  God is in control!!!  ALWAYS!!  You're never alone!  Praise God!

Help!!  Please, God!
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for your love, your mercy and your grace to see us through!  Amen.

Time's Up

Last day of vacation.  I have spent the day being extremely lazy.  Except for a little laundry I have done absolutely nothing.  Getting rested from resting I guess.

I praise God for my sisters.  They are so good to me and helped me to have a really good vacation.  I pray God bless all three of them with peace and health.

God is good.

The Lord bless you and keep you;  the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; The lord turn His face unto you and give you peace.  Numbers 6:24-26

Having Fun

Having fun on my vacation.  Glenda and I have played tons of Scattergories on the computer.  Jennifer has come over to visit everyday.  We have had some yummy food together.  Norma and Wesley came to visit last night while the boys were here.  Aunt Johnnie came by to visit today.  Paula was suppose to come by but got too tired.  Maybe she can come another day.  Norma and the boys are suppose to be over tomorrow and we hope to see Gina sometimes tomorrow after I take the boys home.

A few more days before I go back to work but I am thoroughly enjoying it.

God bless.
