I Did It!

I have light.  My dining room light now works and I did it myself!  I got numbers, bought bulbs, climbed up and changed them all by myself!  Yea Me.
That don't sound like much to most people but even plain old light bulbs when at all possible I leave them burned out hoping Bethany will show up and change it for me.  Climbing is a bit hard on the legs and I am too short to change them without the climb.
God is good.  I give Him praise!

I was listening to the song "Not Gonna Worry"  in the car tonight.  I had to go back and listen again.  I want to get there!!

Thank God!!

Thank God for Norma's Doctor report.  I am so pleased that all is looking good!!  God is so good.

Pray for my boys.  Jordan has an ear infection and Jaxon has a major bad diaper rash.  He seemed totally miserable tonight.

On my way to bed 5:30 am seems a long time ago and coming way too close again.

I pray all is well.  Sleep peacefully and wake to a brand new day!  God bless.

Tired Out

I am on my way to bed.  I had to fix a 5 lb chub of ground beef tonight.  I browned, pattied and made soup.  The soup is really good, I think but doing anything after work really gets my legs. 

Watched American Idol.  Had to copy 2 CD for work.  Not much for an evening but such is how I roll. LOL.

God is Good.

Reminding us!  "For with God nothing shall be impossible!"  Health issues, finances, spiritual health, children trouble??? whatever.  He's there and He is in control!!  Praise God.

I think I inherited my punctuation from Bro. James.  I use to wonder why on earth he would put a ? or !  Now I do the same thing and I understand why?  Does anyone else I wonder?

When I turned my phone on tonight I had a message from Paula.  Ronnie had spent the day cleaning the trash out of my yard.  Dad was a pack rat and kept everything most of which has been destroyed outside and was just trash.  I pray God bless him back abundantly for his time and work blessing me and the boys.  They will love to get out in the yard.  Can't wait to look around myself.  It was too late when I got the call.  I had forgot to turn my phone on after prayer meeting.

Good Times.

This has been a really good last few days.  I had a good visit with the boys and Norma on Saturday.. We let the boys play on the porch and then we went around back to check out the yard.  I really want to get a good place for the boys to play.  They need exercise when they are here.

Jaxon just slowed for the minute.

I took Jordan to church Sunday morning and we had a good morning.  Jennifer and Dave came over to visit.  A wonderful surprise. I really enjoyed having them over.  They brought FOOD FIXINS. YUM. 

Then as they were leaving, Norma came over.  I was going to cut out and make some cases she had ordered.  Cutting went well and visiting was nice but the sewing didn't work out.  Sewing machine would not sew right.  After Norma left, I worked hours on it.  I finally got two pair made.  But all in all it was a really good weekend.  Norma had brought me food as well and then invited me for Roast and potatoes tonight.  Soo more good visits.  This it was Norma, Wesley, James and Rachel and then later Norma's neightbor came over as well.  Most visiting I have had in months.  I don't know why I am suddenly centering everything.  I guess this is suppose to be the caption for the pic??

Oh, well.  Forgive my weird expressions and look of this blog.  I'm sleepy as I got up at 4:30am.

In keeping with Norma's last blog I want to post this picture.  I think it is a very good picture of Wesley and Norma.

Sorry I'm scattered but I wanted to touch base.  I love my 3 sisters!!  Pray everyone is well.

Staff Meeting

We had a staff meeting at work tonight.  Got home close to 8.  I had put a tape in to tape American Idol but it went off before I got home.  I watched the last half and after going out to pick up cat food I came back hoping to see the first half but alas my tape had gone off before 8 leaving off a couple of singers.  Guess I'll live.
Hope everyone is doing good.  I am extremely tired and a little head achy.  Not good with after work meetings.
I'll get the boys tomorrow after work.  I miss them.
I don't really have anything to say I just wanted to check in.  I really rather read your posts.
Glenda, maybe you can start a blog soon.  I would really enjoy reading a blog from you.

Saturday Night

Just sitting here listening to the Gaithers Alaskan Homecoming on GAC.  Hope everyone is doing okay.  I made the day.  My boys were very good today but I guess I am just old because I am wore out after a day with them.  We went out on the porch for a while today.  Got some fresh air.  I would have liked to take them to the park but there is no way I can take them by myself.  If Jaxon got away from me there is no way I could catch him.  Not sure I could catch Jordan either and he runs away too like his big brother.
Jaxon rode the porch rail like a horse most of the time.  Jordan gave it a try, too.  He could ride by the chair but he couldn't climb up like Jaxon could.
Jordan tried blowing bubbles but after pouring out 3 vials full I told him that was enough bubbles.  He really doesn't know how yet.  He kept putting the wand in his mouth.  Most kids after the first taste won't put it in their mouth anymore but Jordie was determined and stuck it to and in his mouth over and over.  He got out a few bubbles. 
I should be in bed but I'm tired but not really sleepy.
God is good.  Have a peaceful night and a blessed Sunday.

Finished

Yesterday I finally mailed off my CDA renewal application.  Praise God.  I checked my list to send over and over so I pray they accept it and send my certificate soon. 

This was on my calendar a few days back.  I wanted to share it.

Morning

It is that time again.  Waiting for Jaxon.  Kind of sleepy.  I kept waking up last night. 
I pray today is a good day for all.
Got my cable box yesterday and guess what, the remote don't work so I have to go exchange it today. 
Ms. Sandra gave me the rest of the things to send for my CDA renewal and I found there is one more section for her to fill out and one more blank I don't know how to fill so I can't send it until I talk to her and call the hot-line.  I pray this little bit is faster than the rest.  I've been trying to get everything together since Dec.
Gotta go Jaxon will be here soon.
